Escape to The Barn Yard

I would like to give a shout out to Kristy and Lincoln for the great experience we had while renting their barn outside of Fullerton. I rented the entire barn for my family’s Christmas get together last year (2018) and it was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the holiday together.

The family space was so roomy and cozy and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and inviting. The kitchen and bar were stocked with everything we needed to do our own cooking and entertainment. The golf simulator was a hit as well as the outdoor grounds that allowed us to have some great outdoor fun and exploration. There is a large outdoor deck, equipped with an outdoor grill, that overlooks the property. The location is very quiet and private and even has a beautiful pond area to enjoy.

I have to add they even had it decorated for the holidays! It has that fabulous rustic ambiance that has many unique items and qualities scattered throughout that you will find both intriguing and beautiful. At the time of our stay they were adding another barn to the property and I would love to go back and see how it looks now!

Our “Girls’ Get Away” group thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! We even ventured into Fullerton for a meal and shopping. We gathered on the second floor for group crafting, conversations, chat and chews, AND wine!

Bedtime was a breeze, pick a bedroom! Each is uniquely decorated-How Fun!

Staying at the Barn was a wonderful experience. It is truly the perfect gathering place for a family or large group. It surpassed all expectations with its comfort, character and charm. We had such a nice and relaxing weekend surrounded by the corn fields and family.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The living room was large enough for everyone to gather and it even had a golf simulator so we could all practice our swing. I can’t recommend the barn enough!

We stayed at the barn to celebrate the Fourth of July prior to get ready for our wedding that weekend. It was also the first time our parents met each other. The barn was a great setting for our families to get to know each other and celebrate our Nation’s independence and our marriage.

It was great to have so many rooms under one roof to fit both of our families. The upstairs has a great Nebraska feel. The property outside is beautiful and great for walking around and relaxing. I’m looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Great place for executive retreats, buddies weekends, weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, etc. The fully furnished upper level living/entertainment area with the natural “barn ceiling” provided an ideal space for our group of friends. We used the fully equipped kitchen/dining area for meals and once we arrived and settled in, we didn’t need to go anywhere!

For being “out in the middle of nowhere” it was easy to get to and had plenty of parking available. As a “city guy” my expectations of staying “in a barn” were not accurate….it is a Nebraska barn, but it has the feel of a mountain lodge.

We had my daughters’ pre-nuptial dinner at the barn. We found it to be a friendly, clean environment. We had access to all parts of the barn, from the well stocked kitchen, to the comfy beds with private bathrooms and individual air conditioners in each room. The golf simulator was a great indoor activity and they allowed us to rearrange the furniture to fit our needs, with plenty of seating options for larger groups!

We loved the décor and the relaxing, secluded retreat environment with a beautiful view off the decks!
